Bob and Kelsey first met at a New Year’s party in 2010. Kelsey noticed the tall, handsome blonde across the room and knew she had to introduce herself – what better an ice breaker than “I brought some bottle rockets for midnight”. At that moment Bob was curious who this Kelsey girl was and where she got her spark.
Over the next year, Bob and Kelsey both stayed busy working, going to school, and enjoying Denver’s night life.
In 2011 Bob was still caught off guard by the “Fitzsimmons Launch” style of living but realized he couldn’t live without it. Bob and Kelsey officially started dating in January and from that moment on they were inseparable and very much fell head over heels in love.
Over the years their relationship has developed into a love of its own through their many shared life adventures. Bob and Kelsey moved in together, attended Metropolitan State University (and graduated), and of course adopted their beautiful beast Khaleesi with the help of Kelsey’s mom. Now, they both are working full time, enjoy friends and family on the weekends, and of course, always make time to get coffee and a breakfast burrito. Over the six years shared together, one thing has stayed true – each has found their best friend and soulmate in each other.
On December 5, 2015, Bob took the big leap to once again to make this relationship even more official. During a weekend stay at the Stanley Hotel (a personal favorite) they went for a walk to look at the beautiful scenery Estes Park has to offer. Yes, keeping Kelsey focused on their time together – not the ghost tour walking by or getting a sandwich or checking out the souvenir shop – was a challenge for Bob. Alas, the perfect moment came, Bob dropped to one knee, Kelsey started crying, and “a million times yes” they were on their way to marriage. Bob planned a magical day and weekend!
Planning the wedding has been an adventure in itself and both cannot wait for you to join them in their union and of course look forward to their bright future together.
